POWERPLANT
AUGUST 2024

Powerplant is one of LA's most notable motorcycle garages that has successfully fused both motorcycle and streetwear fashion elements within its brand DNA.

 

While being hired on to handle Powerplant's Marketing and E-commerce, I've also been given access to the social media channels to which I've brought successful results from a tailored content strategy that highlights the brand's authenticity, and sense of community. The results of my own photo/video content creation with the direction of my content strategy have resulted in a upwards trending 10% increase in following and engagement along with a 15% increase in sales from organic social media content alone.

 

Other social media strategies I've used have been utilizing paid media for additional sales and site traffic, implementing the brand's shop into Instagram and Facebook to tag products, managing a content calendar on Airtable and planning assets for product/sales campaigns.

For MotoCorsa I took on full creative control with content creation while creating a tailored strategy for MotoCorsa's business model for selling Ducati motorcycles, parts, service and apparel.

 

Some highlights of the strategy were creating entertaining yet highly informative content to foster the pillars of community engagement and brand authenticity. This included getting client and staff involvement to accomplish transparency and buyer trust due to MotoCorsa being a luxury focused company.

For Cortech Racing, I optimized the content direction and implemented an influencer heavy strategy to boost community presence and brand awareness with the goal of becoming "The Community's Brand". I sourced culture fit influencers for campaigns around key items that brought successful results, selling out those very products and marketing to an under-pursued demographic I saw potential for.

INFLUENCER MARKETING HIGHLIGHTS

When it comes to influencer and affiliate marketing it can be tricky to track ROI although there are key ways to make sure an investment in an influencer yields key results.

 

The first step I utilize is defining the KPIs which can differ based on the product and brand's intention whether its positive sentiment, sales, or awareness.

SHOEI - PFS CAMPAIGN 
KPI FOCUS: AWARENESS, BOOKINGS

For this campaign, we utilized influencers and athletes to drive awareness for the P.F.S. (Personal Fitting System) helmet service. I sourced a diverse group of 4+ influencers and coordinated 2 athletes to be part of the campaign. The influencers and athletes showcased numerous applications for the product which created engagements and communication to new prospective SHOEI buyers.

RESULTS
·15% increase in bookings
· 30% Engagements increase for the campaign
· 500k+ impressions generated across numerous platforms


 

POWERPLANT x AKILA
KPI FOCUS: ROAS, AOV 

For this campaign, we included strategic gifting which reduced cost associated with ad spend greatly. Those part of the product lifestyle shoot including myself, generated posts on our own accounts that linked to the product on launch day. The results were observed and tracked into Powerplant's Shopify store.


RESULTS
· ROAS of 6-7
· 8-10 Units sold within 4 days
· Increased follower growth for Powerplant
· Increased sales on cross-sold products


 

CORTECH - LOLO SALE CAMPAIGN 
KPI FOCUS: ROAS, FOLLOWER INCREASE

For this campaign I sourced an influencer that would accomplish all 3 KPIs listed above while providing the brand with content. I lowered the overall cost for the partnership by leveraging gifting which heightened the overall ROAS. The results accomplished my goals while setting up the brand for long-term success within the women riders demographic, an under-pursued demographic for the brand.
